Language School Students Support Palestinians and LÖSEV with ‘I Hate Shakespeare’ Play (June 5, 2024)
Our language school students garnered great interest with their performance of “I Hate Shakespeare” at the South Campus. Directed by Lecturers Gökçe Özgen and Murat Güç, organized by Serkan Yar, the play raised funds through ticket sales, providing 10,000 lira in financial support to Palestinians via the Red Crescent. Additionally, through ticket proceeds, they provided a beacon of hope to cancer-stricken children with a donation of 7,900 lira to LÖSEV. This event not only enhanced our students’ English language skills but also contributed to their social responsibility awareness. The donations made were of significant societal importance, aiming to provide hope and support to those in need.
