How to Grade Writing
Our instructors Ece Dil and Cüneyt Yüce volunteered to deliver a workshop on exploring effective writing assessment strategies. They focused on the importance of a well-designed rubric in delivering clear and consistent feedback. Participants were able to examine the limitations of rating scales and were introduced to an error correction code to enhance precision in feedback. The workshop also aimed to cover recent updates to the rubric and error code and provided hands-on practice with sample essays to apply those concepts.
