The new intake of instructors undergo formative observations in the first track of the academic year. Teachers are assigned to a CPD supervisor who meets with them for a pre-observation meeting to review the instructor’s lesson plan and offer guidance. Following the observation, teachers are invited to a post-observation meeting where they are given feedback on their lesson and guidance for improvement. For the instructors to have time to embed the feedback and develop their skills, their summative observations are conducted in the fourth track.
